Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American actor and model who has been featured on a range of TV shows and films during her career. She began as a model, but when she received international recognition, she decided to pursue acting. She started her acting career in 1995 on a TV show called Baywatch Nights. Harmon has also performed voice acting and has been the voice of an animated version of the movie Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. At the beginning of 2000, Harmon made the decision to concentrate films and stop working in TV series. After a brief hiatus, she returned to TV having appeared in several films. In 2008, she was among of a handful of actresses to pose discreetly nude in the magazine 'Allure'. The role as Detective Jane Rizzoli was her most notable work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. In her capacity as Detective Jane, she was highly praised and received accolades. Angie Harmon has been nominated for various times throughout time, and been awarded a number of prizes for her exceptional performances.
